    Thanks so much for the sandkaker recipe! (My mother called them sandbakelser.) I remember her trying unsuccessfully to get the doggoned things out of their tins without breaking them; I did the same several years ago and hadn’t tried them since. Emboldened by your post, I tried again with the help of baking spray, and they turned out great! Tusen takk og god jul!

    Thanks for commenting Curt. I have a memory from my childhood when my mother tried to make Sandkaker. We had the same problem as your mother experienced. The tins were new and it was impossible to get them out. Glad you were able to get them out of the tins. God Jul to you too!

    Thanks Martin and Curt! I remember my dad talking about “sand cookies” – can’t wait to make these, and am glad for the tip on getting them out of the tins. Dad also talked about fattigman, I’ll try those next. God jul og godt nytt år!
